The LG Optimus 4X HD start getting Android Jelly Bean

The update of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is starting to reach the LG Optimus 4X HD , initially started to be distributed through the LG servers for the Czech Republic and other European countries.

As usual, the update will first phones released (unlocked) or that are not tied to a particular telephone operator and then the others will be coming.

To check if the update is available via OTA (Over the Air) on our phone, we need to verify only in Settings or Settings -> About phone -> System updates and, if applicable, will indicate that a new update. Another way is to connect the phone via USB cable to the PC and open the software LG Mobile Support-Tool / PC Suite which also indicates if the update is already available in our region.

Mexico and Latin America likely to take several months to get to phones that are connected to an operator (Telcel in Mexico's case), but for those already impatient, LG offers the option of downloading the latest version (official) Phone Firmware whether it is a smartphone released or under grant and operator customization and even has USB drivers needed for upgrading.

It should be noted that it may be the case that the latest firmware version available (in this case for the LG Optimus 4X HD) in our region, may not be the latest launched globally (in this case Android 4.1 Jelly Bean), so in that case, you can choose to download the firmware for your phone to another region than ours for yes is the latest version available as either way it is an LG official version, though obviously you must download an open version of the firmware (without operator), for the case of the LG Optimus 4X HD would be a good choice for Spain Europe Open version V20A dated April 4, 2013, which is now Android 1.4 Jelly Bean and without customizing any carrier (operator).

It is very important to mention that for the update process by this method, you must have some knowledge and / or experience installing ROMS / Firmware thus, since it wrong, the phone may become unusable, and that we must account, that whether the update is successful or not, we will lose the guarantee of our operator (Telcel in Mexico's case), it being a firmware without personalizing it, we no longer offer support in case of failure or subsequent malfunction.

Unlike what would happen directly with LG, as although it is not the custom firmware and approved by our operator, it is an LG official firmware, but the only thing that LG is not supported in the update process by this method, so that in case they go wrong, warns not responsible.

Anyway, who are already accustomed to this type of updates / facilities, safe will not hesitate to do so, as well as gain the latest version of Android for your phone (and being an official LG ROM) may dispose of customization and applications puts its operator (power logos, apps that do not want, etc..).

Nokia Music now also for Windows 8 and RT

Nokia announced today the launch of the Nokia Music application for Windows 8 and Windows 8 RT, thanks to which the music streaming service from the Finnish company is now available for PC's, latops and tablets that have the Microsoft operating system.

Nokia Music is offered for some time on the phones Lumia with Windows Phone and recently launched the premium version of the service called Nokia Music + , which is obtained through a monthly subscription cost and provides access to more features than the free version, but now with his arrival in the PC's and tablets, the potential market is growing tremendously.

The application to Windows 8 / RT is based on HTML5 and is well suited to the operating system interface, minimalist design and colorful.

The service offers many of the options already known in services such as Spotify, Deezer, Rdio or Sony Music Unlimited , among others, the ability to access streaming music catalog with over 17 million songs, create playlists, listen to music even offline (on synchronization of songs), or player widget to control miniature music even when you are using another application, information about artists and concert dates or news, play wirelessly to other compatible devices through DLNA, among others.

The bad news is that for now the Nokia Music application for Windows 8/RT only available for the U.S., UK, Ireland and Australia, but mentions that in the coming weeks it will be for other countries.

This in some way, could be a harbinger of Nokia's intentions regarding its entry into the tablet market with Windows 8, it seems a little odd that Lacen the service for that platform without a device that does.

Surely the rumors about the possible upcoming release of a Nokia tablet will be left to come in the coming days and weeks.

However, Spotify offers interesting options that are attractive to many users and versatility over to use the service on multiple platforms, so it is sure to be well received.

EA Launches Battlefield 4 trailer 17 minutes

EA has released a lengthy trailer for Battlefield 4, which lasts 17 minutes and is intended to give a closer and details of what users will see in the game.

The Battlefield franchise, which has many fans and followers, this time offering a greater focus on the graphics, still more realistic and great sound effects.

Although I am a declared fan, I still remember for beyond 2002/2003 the first installment of Battlefield (Battlefield 1942) when only out for PC and recreating the battles of World War II. Go to the series has evolved since then, but at least in matters of gameplay (beyond the graphics), I think for me is still the game of the series that I liked.
