Google Translate for Android (Google Translate or Google Translate) has received an update which now has downloadable language packs to use the translator even when not have an internet connection.

A total of 50 language packs which can be downloaded as a resource available to them when we are abroad, no data plan or where no such signal.



It is noteworthy that these language packs are less complete than its online equivalent versions, but well we can bail out in any situation.

Obviously downloading the packages we need or should be done in advance (from within the application) in order to have them ready when we meet in offline mode.



This new feature is currently only available for devices running Android 2.3 Gingerbread or higher.
